Project Description

Within the scope of the preparation of feasibility and project documents for the Zabuxçay Dam, the contract was signed on November 14, 2022, between the "Employer" Management of Ongoing Projects under the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan, the "Contractor" Cengiz İnşaat San. ve Tic. A.Ş. of the Republic of Turkey, and the "Subcontractor" Proyapı Engineering and Consultancy Inc.
The project, for which the feasibility and implementation drawings as well as consultancy services were carried out by our side, was completed in a short period of 15 months, and water retention in the dam was finalized. Following the completion of the project, the agricultural lands located on the right and left banks of the Hekeri River were supplied with water through the main pipelines and the toe power plant of the Zabuxçay Dam, ensuring the sustainable and uninterrupted operation of the irrigation system.
